初中IC初印象

九月带着酷热后微凉的诗意如期而至，苏外初中IC也又一次迎来了一批崭新的学生。告别了简单快乐的小学生活, 经历了如火如荼的军训洗礼, 不知不觉间大家已经在初中IC完成了三个星期的学习和生活。从小学到初中，作为初中IC的new freshman到底是一种什么样的体验呢？初中IC又发生了哪些趣事？下面让我们来一起听一听IC1的小代表们对IC部门的初印象吧！

“At the beginning, I felt very nervous because I thought there are so many strange faces in this classroom that I was afraid I couldn‘t get along with them. I tried to talk with one person behind me. But soon I saw that it’s not what I thought; she is a kind girl. From then on, we became friends. After a week, I had a number of friends.”

“初中IC和我的小学相比，老师和班级的数量少了，但是课程增加了，刚开始有点不适应，但是过了几天我觉得课程变多也是一件好事，因为课程的多样性和多元化让我的大脑一直处于灵活思考的状态之中。”

“I think IC is a new place for me. I met new friends, new subjects and new teachers there. There are great differences between IC and my primary school. I discovered that everyone can speak English very well here. The new lessons are also fascinating to me. For example, biology, economics, computer science and so on. “来到初中IC我感觉生活有了很大的变化。小学时，家人总对我的要求不高，总想着我是小学生，处处都让着我。现在我已经是中学生了，我要背负起更多的责任来。”                                            ——IC1.1 石诗萱

“我们的生活有了很大的改变，比如晚了十分钟的放学，比如独立去食堂，比如陡然增加的科目，比如突然变多的作业，这里的一切与以往有着很大的不同。不过很高兴遇到了很多亲切和蔼的老师和友善的同学们。在短短几周的时间里我收获了各种各样的快乐，在老师带领下进入了知识的海洋，学习了很多有趣的知识，充实而又快乐。”

“I used to think studying in IC is easy but now I realized IC life wasn’t simple enough. We have lots of courses everyday, so we need to pay attention to the courses. But IC life was also interesting. We experienced many subjects that we can never have in other schools. The knowledge we learnt is always interesting and deserves pondering. All in all, IC is hard, brand-new and interesting!”

“one thing that surprised me is those teachers who come from other countries and are proficient in the subjects they teach. “within three weeks, I have gained a lot of insights. I found that IC classmates are very enthusiastic, having high requirements, full of confidence in themselves, being ready to meet challenges and help others. “吸引我的首先是初中IC的融合性课程，这里有外教，有不同的课程和学习方式，除了九年制义务教育的内容，我们还接触了很多不同的文化和特色课程。此外初中IC还有着丰富多彩的活动，比如诗会，spellingbee拼词大赛，IC bucks美食节，领袖团竞选等等，在这里我们不仅仅获得了很多知识，也慢慢学会如何成为更好的自己。”

  “I really like the CLC courses of IC. We can discuss what leadership is and share creative ideas during the LCT lessons. We will get to know about society and communication, developing empathy under our CLM mentor’s guide. CLP is my favorite. We can learn different skills or develop hobbies and get chance to present our ideas.”
