游中有学 学中有思

春风飒爽，连天碧草，花开如约。3月16日，伴着花的芬芳，草的清香，苏州外国语学校海外六班，于上方山动物园开展了一次意义非凡的校外实践活动。

   活动前期，外交Eric和班主任魏老师以animals为主题，上了一周的基础课程，分别从：classification，health，companionship，diet，behavior，environment这几个方面对动物进行了详细的教授。语言学习过程中，孩子们除了学到了英语表达方式，还有想要探索动物更多信息的求知欲。考虑到孩子们想要进行更深层次的拓展学习，外交老师和中方老师们预先动物园进行了踩点，熟悉活动基地，了解动物种类，采集各种动物信息，因地制宜地设计了ASDAN英语跨学科的实践活动任务单。

3月16日这天中午，孩子们带上笔记本，背上任务袋，怀揣着期待与激动，来到了动物园。活动中，同学们小组合作，分工明确，一路上除了欣赏沿途的风景还有回校途中，学生们意犹未尽，一路上讨论着任务单上存有疑惑的地方。一次受益匪浅、意义深刻的春季实践活动圆满完成！相信此次实践活动过后，学生们会更加留心观察生活，培养起随时随地学习的好习惯。

We have learned a lot during this research activities. There’re nine people in our group. We distinguished five different species and wrote down their five welfares after hot discussion. We find more than one hundred animals and about 54% are in danger now. I really enjoy this journey.

The nature is really amazing. She creates lots of creatures. During the trip, we know a lot of animals and we learn how to cooperate. Teamwork is very important and we help each other when we meet some problems.

We went to the zoo today. We saw some mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, invertebrates, fish and so on. We took a lot of pictures and learned a lot. That’s a brilliant day!
