AC英才班:苏州市基础教育创新人才培育实验项目

AC ELITE CLASS

苏外初中英才班响应国家培养多元创新型人才需要,践行苏外精英教育路线,借鉴国际先进教育思想,充分汲取中西方教育优势,独创“三维六面”课程体系,优化师资配置,在起点上瞄准前沿趋势,让学习方式从单一“认知”转向“认知+行动”,充分激发孩子潜能,促进学生情智双商同步提升,促进文理素养融合发展,为后续深入创新性学习蓄势奠基。

In response to the appeal of the country to cultivate innovative talents, SFLS not only implements elite education, but also draws on advanced educational ideas worldwide in order to utilize both Chinese and Western education to the best advantage. The innovative three-dimensional evaluation system and six sides course module, the high-quality faculty, the attention to cutting-edge trends change the students’ learning mode from ‘Cognition’ to ‘Cognition plus Action’. As a result, students’ potential can be fully inspired, whose EQ and IQ can be improved simultaneously. In addition, their literacy in Arts and Sciences can be developed at the same time, laying a solid foundation for further innovative learning.

实验班

EXPERIMENTAL CLASS

苏外初中实验班以国家基础课程为核心,培养学科扎实,能力综合,阳光自信的优秀初中生。实验班学习生活丰富多彩,多元课程选修、多元学科主题活动、多元节庆文化活动为孩子们素养提升助力添彩。初中实验班成绩优异,学科竞赛频频获奖。实验班学生具有境外修学交流的广泛机会,开阔视野,增强国际理解力。

The experimental class of SFLS mainly focuses on national basic curriculum, with the target of cultivating excellent junior middle school students with solid subject knowledge, comprehensive abilities and confidence. Students’ comprehensive quality can be extremely improved in their rich and colorful school life, which includes various extra-curriculum, inter-disciplinary thematic activities and different cultural festival activities. The students from experimental class in junior high school have achieved excellent academic results, and frequently won awards in discipline competitions. The students here have numerous opportunities to study abroad to broaden their horizon and enhance their international understanding.

IC班 

苏外IC班以国内义务教育课程为核心,辅以国外教材为参考,融合中国文化精粹和国际教育理念,致力于培养学生拥有自由的思想、自律的行为。我们倡导以学生为中心,采取探究式的学习方式,注重培养学生终身学习的能力,提升学生多维思考、提出问题和解决问题的素养,为学生进入高中国际课程以及世界名校的学习、成长为优秀的国际公民奠定良好基础。

IC in SFLS is based on the domestic compulsory education curriculum and utilizes components of Chinese culture and values while broadening perspectives through international education. IG is dedicated to the education of students becoming self-disciplined citizens. We encourage student-centered and inquiry-based learning to develop students’ skills of lifelong learning, multidimensional thinking, and problem-solving. It is intended to lay a strong foundation for students seeking further study in international high schools or oversea universities.

核心课程:国家初中阶段义务制教育课程、经济、附加数学

Core courses:middle school national curriculum、Economics 、Additional Mathematics

选修课程:基础编程、食物营养学、英文戏剧、艺术设计、足球、篮球、棒球、羽毛球、

街舞、英文纪录片制作、创意传媒、竞赛指导……

Elective courses: Basic Programming; Food and Nutrition; Drama; Art and Design; Football; Basketball; Baseball,; Badminton; Street Dance; English Documentary; Creative Media; Competition Training, etc.

多语种课程:西班牙语、德语、法语

在丰富课程以外,学生有机会参与各项活动、竞赛,以此来巩固、扩大学生的学习和实践

经验。

In addition to various course arrangements, students are strongly encouraged

to takepart in different extra-curriculum activities and competitions as their

practical experience. 


我们主要开展的活动有:多语种戏剧节、中英文单词听写大赛、新年音乐会、创智大赛、

物化实验大比拼、摄影展、义卖等。

Here is a list of the main activities in the IG department: multilingual Drama Festival,

Spelling Bee English, Dictation Competition, New Year's Concert, Product Launch, 

Physical & Chemical Experimentation Competition, Photography Exhibition, 

and Charity Bazaar.


学生有机会参与各项游学项目以及各类比赛,我们努力为学生搭建各类平台,让学生在适合

自己的舞台上绽放自我。

Students are also offered opportunities to join different study tour programs. We

strive to set up diverse platforms enabling students to show their strengths and

gain more confidence.


IC 公益

IC  Charity 

除了学术发展,我们通过公益活动帮助学生提升社会意识。每学期每个班去民工子弟学校,通过志愿者教学鼓励那里的学生,每年暑假学生在夏令营中助教,帮助民工子弟学生提高他们的学业。这些锻炼、实践增强了学生的责任心与社会意识。

In addition to academic development, students are also encouraged to enhance their social awareness through public charity activities. Every semester, IG students volunteer to teach and inspire younger migrant children in primary schools; and every summer, they help to tutor those pupils at summer camps. These exercises and practices enhance students' sense of responsibility and social service.


苏外IC 学生建立了每周六辅导民工子弟学生的培训中心,帮助民工学生成长和进步。IGTC由学生自主管理,每一个学生都有机会参与进来。

IGTC, a training center to coach migrant children every Saturday, has been established and managed by IG students themselves, providing opportunities for each IG boy and girl to give a hand.


2017年我们的全球化影响开始扩大,11位毕业班的学生远赴肯尼亚的内罗毕贫民窟度过了14天的支教生活。在这期间他们教授900多名当地的学生,成为中非文化的使者,把爱心传播到更多的角落。


Since 2017, the IG department has become even more connected to the rest of the world. Eleven graduating students went to a Nairobi slum in Kenya as volunteer teachers for 14 days. There, they taught over 900 local students and served as ambassadors for Chinese culture. This experience offers a chance for IG students to share their love to the people in every corner of the world.
